Training
All of our engineers undergo intensive training above and beyond industry standard. Our engineers are all Gas Safe Register certified, Part L compliant and trained in Energy Efficiency and are continually monitored on health and safety. Our electricians are NICEIC qualified with our own quality supervisor cross-checking their work.
We don't stop there - we have also developed an in house training programme, fronted by Jason Barker for electrical and Graham Bowden for heating. They keep our team up to date on emerging technologies, new processes and regulations and at all times they remain up to speed.
(Bowden Academy and Apprentice Programme) - BAAP
Our academy and apprentice programmes are well recognised in the industry for their high standards and attract a number of budding engineers every year.
The programme offers apprenticeships in the field as well as re-training and refresher courses for old hands looking to update their knowledge. Bowden naturally benefits from this as we develop some of our engineers on these programmes onto our teams, but you as a customer also benefit in the knowledge that the team you select are of the highest standards.
Because of our high standards, which are recognised locally, we have close links to all of the local colleges. Our apprentices have for the last five years passed out of college with the highest grades and have even gone on to win local apprenticeship awards. B Bowden & Company invest in our local community by offering work experience places to the local schools in our area who often become employees.
